Google Holiday Logos Archive

Have you ever wondered just how many there are of those wonderful little holiday logos that Google publishes on their home page from time to time? I have. Believe me.
This question has bothered me for years. I always wished that they were all in one place and available to the public so that, say, if there was one particularly clever New Year's logo that caught your eye at 11:59 pm on January 1st, you would be able to find it again on January 2nd. Now, being the kind of person that I am, I took it upon myself to create that place. I actually started a new blog for the specific purpose to collecting and archiving Google Holiday Logos. That's when I found The Page.
It turns out that Google has been archiving their holiday logos all along at Google.com. On Google's page, you can see all of the Holiday Logos, along with the dates of their release, that have appeared since 1999. Goodbye, Google Logos Blog!

Easy Light Bulb!

All things have a beginning and this is it for my new blog. For years I've been toying with the idea of starting a technically oriented blog. Now I've finally pulled out all the stops, screwed my courage to the sticking place and done it.
As the title of this post (and of this blog) vaguely indicates, the purpose of this blog is to provide simple, easy to understand solutions, tutorials, and how-tos for common technical problems and puzzles that plague technology users everywhere. I'm not guaranteed, not by a long shot, to have the solution to every problem out there, just the ones that have irritated me personally in the past and that I have worked my way through. You, my reader, may be able to learn something from my experience and my mistakes.
Besides solutions, tutorials, and how-tos, you will also find a lot of information about things that I think are cool or worth noticing. Whenever I post a link, I encourage you to give it a click; see what happens!

Happy Lightbulbing!
